Barack Obama, French President Nicolas Sarkozy and British Prime Minister David Cameron discussed the situation in the euro area, Reuters reported quoting the press service of the White House. Negotiations leaders held in two separate telephone conversations.
The report notes that Cameron and Sarkozy, «agreed with the view of Obama on the need for drastic measures for the speedy resolution of the protracted crisis, as well as to stimulate the economy in the eurozone and beyond.»
In turn, Sarkozy told the U.S. president on the agreements reached during the meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
